We want every patient to feel safe, comfortable and well supported during their visit.
Our practice is located in a Grade II listed building, which creates some unavoidable access limitations.
Entrance and Internal Access
- There are three steps at the main entrance.
- Most of our treatment rooms are on the first floor, accessed by a flight of stairs.
- We do not have a lift or an accessible toilet due to the listed nature of the building.
If steps or stairs are difficult
We can make the following reasonable adjustments:
- Side Entrance Access
If steps are difficult for you, we can arrange access through our ground-floor side entrance, which has only a single threshold.
- Downstairs Clinic
If stairs to the first floor are difficult, we offer a monthly downstairs clinic in our ground-floor surgery.
Please let us know in advance if you would benefit from either option, so we can arrange this for you.
Wheelchair Access
Due to the structural restrictions of our Grade II listed building, we are not able to provide wheelchair access.
If you require wheelchair-accessible facilities — and we are not already aware, or if your needs have changed — please tell us.
We work closely with a fully accessible nearby practice, Clover Dental (North Baddesley), and we can transfer your records quickly, safely and free of charge.
If your needs change:
If your mobility, hearing, vision or communication needs change at any time, please let our team know so we can plan the most suitable arrangements for your visit.
Your comfort and safety are our priority.
