We would rather make teeth look natural and avoid silver/black amalgam fillings which can permanently stain your teeth as they slowly corrode. What does a filling involve?

Firstly, you’ll be given a local anaesthetic to make the procedure painless.

1. The decay is removed from your tooth, at this stage you will feel vibration and water spray.

2. The filling is then placed in stages, each stage is typically set hard with a blue light.

3. The filling is then polished and adjusted for your bite.

After the treatment you may experience some short-term sensitivity and you will likely be numb for a few hours.
