I’m Barbs. I earned my Certificate of Higher Education in Dental Nursing from Portsmouth University in 2016. Throughout my studies, I embraced a wide variety of dentistry immersing myself in work placements. From assisting in surgical dentistry at a hospital maxillofacial department to contributing to special care dentistry at the Community Health Centre.

Embracing a growth mindset, recently I returned to university to pursue further education to become a Dental Therapist. While juggling coursework and lectures, I’ve remained steadfast in my support of Hampshire Dentists returning to nurse with the team on a regular basis. Alongside pursuing my own educational endeavours, I’ve continued to contribute to the practice, nurturing both my skills and our team dynamics.

Since joining Hampshire Dentists in 2018, I’ve enriched my expertise through courses in Dental Implant Nursing, as well as Dental Radiography and Radiation Protection. I eagerly anticipate further expansion of my skills and knowledge through my training and appreciate the support of our incredible patients and team.

Beyond dentistry, I enjoy time spent with my husband and our dog, Lola. Traveling and delving into history also sparks my interest, providing a nice balance to my professional pursuits.
