Dental Therapist
I’m Vaida. I grew up in Lithuania and moved to England in 2016. My career in dentistry began as a dental nurse where I gained invaluable experience working across Wiltshire, Hampshire, Surrey, and West Wessex.
Eager to expand my horizons, I pursued a BSc in Dental Hygiene & Dental Therapy at the University of Portsmouth. During my time at university, I became proficient in various dental procedures, including hygiene services, routine fillings for adults and children, dental check-ups, fissure sealants and whitening.
My passion lies in patient-centred care, preventive dentistry, and oral health education. I actively engage with professional associations such as BSDHT and BSP, and I regularly attend webinars and courses to stay up-to-date in the ever-evolving field of dentistry. With a calm and gentle demeanour, I particularly enjoy treating anxious and paediatric patients.
Outside of dentistry, I find joy in socialising with friends and family, baking, travelling, and taking long walks along the Southsea beach.
